Nursing school, how quickly you have flown;
I hope to retain the things you've shown.
To be a nurse, I have long aspired;
Yet, during each class, I felt, oh, so tired.
Nursing school, my accomplishments to you I owe,
And though you have swiftly gone, this thing I know:
Your influence will show life-long effects
And my career, a memorial to you will erect.
And now, as I leave you once and for all,
I desire the confidence to stand tall,
To carry on the legacy, to heal, to care
And, with some soul, God's light to share.
